Vétra – True French Workwear – Newsletter 8 November
Vétra is short for VÊTements de TRAvail -the French words for Workwear. They’ve been in business since 1927 and owned by the same family ever since Edouard Beerens started the company in Paris. Vétra has become well known for the high quality and durable, classic constructed pieces in cotton twill, moleskin, linen and wool. Their garments stand out from the crowd with their simplicity yet fine attention to details. Every piece is still manufactured in France, faithful to it’s roots and soul.
The Vétra Overshirt in navy wool blend works really well as a casual lighter jacket. When the temperature drops, you can wear it as a warming midlayer with a t-shirt under together with your favourite denims or chinos and perhaps a pair of Indy Boots from Alden.
Simple yet special. Classic jacket in dark navy with great details such as the side pockets and the wonderful tartan patterned lining for some extra warmth.
In the same model as the jacket above but in a lighter cotton, this jacket is made in a deep cassis color. Jacket or overshirt? You decide.
A longer, slightly oversized coat in navy melton wool with dropped shoulder. This simple style straight coat has a classic collar and two front pockets.
No doubt Vétra has become so popular with their super versatile, good looking, well constructed pieces.
